can't help you here, have experienced the same behaviour. on one pc, ppl 1.x stopped working completely after install of ppl 2.x. I think ppl 2.x is jamming version 1.x somehow.

as far I remember you have several options in fmod how to handle the files in memory. a second look into the docs can't harm. maybe you don't load the mp3's...

do you need the connection between your pc and the device anyway? to install PPL simply copy the Arianesoft.cab on your TP2 and run in it in the file explorer.
