Here's a good place for you to start looking: <a href="http://www.devmaster.net/engines/">3D Engines</a>. The only ones you'd probably want to consider at this point are ones that compile either to a DLL or OCX. Otherwise you'll have to create the wrapper yourself, and I don't think any of us want to go there at this point :)

Anybody out there (apart from Alain and Eric) managed to bolt extra functionality in to PPL yet?
An example would be useful to us all - May even end up as a tutorial in the newsletter.
