It's been a while since i have posted to this thread of mine...however, i have a very important update.
As you know, that i had some datafiles that were not being displayed properly, and sometimes locking up my mobile phone (forcing me to soft-reset). However, i recently discovered the cause of this problem. When you send the data file which has chinese characters in it to the mobile device, you must not use activesynch to do it. You actually need to use a SD card reader directly. It seems that if there are any non-standard characters or anything that looks a little odd, activsynch converts it to something it likes and then sends it through to the mobile device. So, finally no more problem when doing this now. However, i think that if you don't have a card reader to do this directly, you can compress the data file into a .zip archive and then send it through active synch. I haven't tested this idea, but it would be the only other option that i'm aware of. |

I'm sorry to ask questions on such an old thread, but the original file can't be accessed anymore, and I'm interested in it. Does somebody knows where to find it ?

Thanks a lot. But it seems that I can't load it in the new version of PPL.

I have a very strange request....
does anyone have the source code to this project laying around? I decided to come back to PPL and start coding this project again....but...i can only find the Flashcards.PPC file attached to this forum. It's a bit annoying. Also, i forgot what the .PPC file is. Is that the Compiled ByteCode file? If so, how do i execute that file on my PC or WM5 phone? Thanks!

yeah it's the compiled bytecode. rename it to Autorun.ppc put a PPL.exe in the same directory and run it. have you ever uploaded the source code here?
