Talking Yeah baby - First post in here too!

Well I have a great first post for the Made with PPL V2 section of the forum.

For all of you who have MS-Speech installed on your machines.

A wrapper for PPL! yeah baby!

No source code as yet, that will be in a tutorial in the October/November diskmag!

Just a little taster of whats to come!

I hope you are all able to hear something wonderful!

Mike.

Angry DOH! WM strikes again

Oh now this is my fault, sorry.

It only works on PCs - not sure that MS Speech has been done for mobile devices.

I will have a look and see if there is a WM version.

M.

Hi Mike, wonderful. I hope you will provide it as a PCL object-oriented library so that using it will be super easy from the IDE.

Well Alain,

That depends on how easy a PCL OO library is to create!

Best way would be to study the pcl.ppl and pcl.xml files. Another option is to do it using Component project. Drag properties and methods to the new component, PPL will create the XML and PPL files for you like magic. You might want to add an help file to it as well. Create a new Help file project and Import the PPL file that it created into it, it will create topics for all properties and methods that you can fill.
